
Internships
A key component of the Health & Wellness Master of Architecture option is a seven-month paid internship (ARCH 807) working in a firm and doing significant work in the healthcare design field. The Health & Wellness program has placed more than 260 students in internships in approximately 50 firms and healthcare organizations across the country.
The internship component of the H&W program provides a unique opportunity to experience what it is like to work on a real project in one of the leading healthcare architecture firms in the country. The seven-month paid internship offers students a variety of practice settings, and we have placed students in each of the U.S. regions represented by the map below. Upon completion of the internship program, students return to the Lawrence campus for their final "capstone" design studio (ARCH 808).
